「智慧型視覺計算實驗室 (Intelligent Vision Computing Lab) 」

歡迎來到國立臺南大學智慧型視覺計算實驗室(Intelligent Vision Computing Lab)。本實驗室專注於AI人工智慧與視覺計算的結合、物聯網與大數據分析的整合,技術涵蓋:AI人工智慧、深度學習、影像辨識、電腦視覺、AOI自動光學檢測、智慧穿戴、物聯網以及大數據分析等技術的研發。

本實驗室所研發的技術應用領域廣泛,涵蓋:商品檢索、藥錠檢測、晶圓檢測、自動駕駛、臉部年齡估測、臉部性別判斷、髮型分類、臉形分類、人臉辨識、掌紋辨識、安全監控、人類行為分析、呼吸照護、心率量測、發電量預測、耗電量預測、VR虛擬實境、AR擴增實境、腫瘤偵測、器官三維重建、植物辨識、昆蟲辨識等等。

本實驗室與產業互動密切,執行許多產學合作案,並有技術轉移,因為我們深信:唯有能解決產業問題才能替技術加值。本實驗室研究的成果,有多個技術已取得專利,有多篇研究論文發表於國際SCI等級期刊,並有多篇國際研討會論文獲獎,研究成果豐碩。就人類的資訊獲取而言,視覺佔據一半以上的份量,由於AI人工智慧的發展與計算能力的提升,使得視覺計算的相關應用愈來愈顯得重要,此領域相關產業的研發需求也與日俱增。本實驗室培育出許多產業菁英,在業界深受肯定,歡迎對AI人工智慧、視覺計算、物聯網與大數據分析研究與應用有興趣的同好,一起加入我們的研發團隊。

Welcome to Intelligent Vision Computing Lab at National University of Tainan. We focus on developing technologies for combining AI and vision computing and integrating IoT and Big Data analysis. Developed technologies include AI, Deep Learning, Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI), wearable devices, internet of things (IOT), multimedia retrieval, biometrics, surveillance, physiology measurement, Big Data analysis and medical image analysis.

The technologies developed by the IVC Lab are applied to various fields. The applications include goods retrieval, pills inspection, wafer inspection, facial age estimation, facial gender classification, hair styles classification, facial shape classification, face recognition, palm prints recognition, information hiding, visual surveillance, visual analysis of human behaviors, virtual/augmented reality, human-computer interaction, disease diagnosis, cancer detection, organ 3D reconstruction, surgical simulation, plant recognition, insect recognition etc.

IVC Lab cooperates with industries very closely. We have completed several industrial projects and technology transfers. Parts of our research results have been patented. Additionally, an amount of research papers have published in international journals SCI grade, and a number of articles have won international awards.

Vision accounts for more than half of human perception. Thanks to the popularity of pervasive computing and intelligence computing technology, information acquisition and processing are more closely in our daily lives. Therefore, visual computing related applications will become increasingly important. Also, the research and development needs in this area are increasing.
